Getting started

Get your playgroup on the scoreboard

Nerd Leagues tracks your Magic: The Gathering games, decks and ELO for the people you actually play with. It's free, and there are five things to do — most of them once.

  1. Create a league

A league is the scoreboard your playgroup shares. Make one, or join an existing one with an invite code.

  2. Invite your playgroup

Send your league's invite code or link. Everyone who joins gets their own ELO in that league.

  3. Add a deck

Build it here, paste a list, or import a Commander precon. Decks carry their own rating, separately from yours.

  4. Get the app

Use the life tracker at the table and the game records itself when you finish — no typing anything up afterwards.

  5. Record your first game

The life tracker does this for you. Recording by hand still works if you'd rather, or if you're logging a game you already played.

You'll need an account to create a league or save a deck — it's free and takes a moment. Sign in or sign up, or have a look around first: community decks, the bracket calculator, and the full guides are all open.
