The Standalone Combo Finder: Paste Any Card List
To paste a decklist and find every combo in it, use nerdleagues.com/combos. It is public — no account needed to run a list — and it takes a deck in four shapes, so you can usually skip converting between formats. Signed out, you see the first three results per tab.
Paste a decklist
The Paste a Decklist box takes one card per line. Quantities and set codes are fine, so MTGO exports, MTG Arena exports, Moxfield text exports, and hand-typed lists all work as-is.
Mark your commanders. A line reading // Commander or Commander: tells the finder which cards are in the command zone, and Commander Spellbook uses that to work out which combos your color identity can reach. Skip it and you still get results, just less accurate ones.
Import from Moxfield or Archidekt
The Import from Moxfield / Archidekt panel has a tab for each site. Paste a deck URL to pull that list, or enter a username to browse that user's public decks and pick one.
Pick a saved deck
Signed in, Select Your Deck lists the decks in your account and Find Combos analyzes the one you choose. Same lookup as the overlay in the deck editor.
Save the result as a deck
A pasted or imported list is not stored anywhere. To keep it, Save to Deck Builder turns it into a real deck: name it, pick a format (Commander / EDH, cEDH, Standard, Modern, Legacy, Vintage, Pioneer, Pauper, or Custom), then Save & Stay to carry on in the finder or Save & Open Deck to jump into the editor.
Reading and filtering results
However the list got there, the output is the same: an In Your Deck tab, a 1 Card Away tab, a Brackets: filter row, and a Sort: dropdown for Bracket or Popularity. What Is the Nerd Leagues Combo Finder? covers what each field on a combo means.
Bracket & Game Changers
The standalone page also estimates a Commander bracket level for the whole list, which the deck builder overlay does not. The collapsible Bracket & Game Changers section places the deck on the official 1-to-5 scale — 1 Exhibition, 2 Core, 3 Upgraded, 4 Optimized, 5 cEDH — then lists the cards behind that number:
- Banned Cards — anything not legal in the format.
- Game Changers — cards on the official Game Changers list, checked against Scryfall, with images, mana cost, and price.
- Two-Card Combos, Mass Land Denial, Extra Turns, Lock Combos, and Control All / Some Opponents — the categories the bracket rules single out, each listing the cards and combos responsible.
Categories with nothing in them are marked clean. If you are trying to hold a deck at bracket 2 or 3, this shows which cards are pushing it up.
Because it takes any list, you can run it on a deck you are thinking of copying, or on an opponent's published list.
